A space to understand, connect, and grow.
ABOUT ATARAXIA
Ataraxia Therapy is a psychological practice built around the belief that meaningful change begins with understanding ourselves, our relationships, and the experiences that have shaped us.
Why Ataraxia?
Ataraxia was created to offer a different kind of psychological space, one where people are not reduced to symptoms, diagnoses, or problems to be fixed. Therapy can be a place to slow down, become curious about what is happening beneath the surface, and understand the patterns that shape the way we think, feel, relate and move through the world.
Ataraxia brings together psychotherapy, psychological education, practical resources and community to make that kind of understanding more accessible.
What we believe
PEOPLE ARE MORE THAN THEIR SYMPTOMS.
A diagnosis can describe something a person is experiencing, but it can never describe the whole person.
UNDERSTANDING COMES BEFORE CHANGE.
Meaningful change becomes easier when we understand the patterns we are trying to change.
HEALING IS RELATIONAL.
The relationships we have—with ourselves and with others—can deeply shape our emotional lives.
NOT EVERYTHING NEEDS A DIAGNOSIS.
Some of the most important things we struggle with are questions of identity, relationships, boundaries, grief, connection and belonging.
HOW WE WORK
Warm. Collaborative. Evidence-based. Deeply human.
Our approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and attachment-focused. We work relationally, moving beyond simply offering techniques to understanding the deeper emotional structures of your life. Together, we create a space that is as rigorous as it is compassionate, rooted in clinical evidence and the messy reality of being human.
What we work with

TRAUMA & ATTACHMENT
Healing from past experiences and building a secure foundation for the future through trauma-informed, attachment-focused care.

RELATIONSHIPS & COUPLES
Understanding the dynamics of how we relate to others, navigating conflict, and deepening emotional intimacy in partnerships.

SELF & IDENTITY
Exploring who you are, finding your voice, and making sense of your place in the world through questions of meaning and belonging.

THE PERSON BEHIND THE PRACTICE
Meet Rupali
Rupali Sharma, Clinical Psychologist
Rupali is the founder and currently the lead clinical practitioner at Ataraxia Therapy. With over a decade of clinical experience, her vision was to create a space that transcends the limitations of traditional therapy settings, one that values the whole person over their diagnosis. Her work is deeply informed by the belief that our histories and relationships matter. She works collaboratively with individuals and couples, helping them navigate complex emotional landscapes with compassion and clinical rigor. Rupali’s approach is warm and relational, ensuring that every client feels truly seen and heard. While Rupali is the heartbeat of the practice today, Ataraxia is expanding into a diverse community of practitioners and learners, all committed to making deep psychological understanding a foundational part of modern mental healthcare.
THERAPY
Deep relational work focused on understanding and healing internal patterns.
More than a therapy practice.
Ataraxia is growing beyond the therapy room. Alongside psychotherapy, we are building spaces for psychological learning, community and connection through workshops, educational resources, therapist gatherings and accessible mental health content.
LEARNING
Workshops and educational spaces that bring psychological concepts into everyday life.
RESOURCES
Practical guides and insights designed to make psychological understanding accessible to all.
COMMUNITY
Gatherings and connections for people and therapists committed to psychological depth.

You don't have to have everything figured out.
Sometimes the first step is simply finding a space where you can begin to make sense of things.
